Libra loses another important name: Morgan Beller
She was co-founder of the initiative together with David Marcus, now she will put her skills and her vision at the service of another reality: Morgan Beller, 27, leaves the Libra project and joins the venture capital company NFX in quality of General Partner. The company founded in 2015 has offices in the United States and Israel.

Morgan Beller: the co-founder greets Libra

Up until the last few days she was head of the team working on the realization di Novi (formerly Calibra), the wallet delegated to manage Libra. With NFX it will focus not only on blockchain-related opportunities, but also a number of other innovative technologies. This is the comment entrusted to the editors of CNBC.

I love Libra, I'm a fan of Libra. I will not go away. I will continue to be friends with them, following them very closely and in some way getting involved. It's just that when the guys from NFX came knocking on my door it was an obvious choice.

Below is the Twitter post announcing the decision.

1 / I first met @GigiLevy five years ago on a trip to Israel. Since then, it's been incredible to watch Gigi, @JamesCurrier, @PeteFlint & the whole team build @NFX from James' garage to what it is today. I'm excited & honored to be joining @NFX as a General Partner.

The Libra project recently saw the appointment of James Emmett (formerly HSBC) as Managing Director of Libra Networks and that of Stuart Levey (also formerly HSBC) as CEO of the Libra Association. Its nature has been somewhat downsized compared to its initial ambitions: in all likelihood it will become more of a payment management system than a cryptocurrency announced with the stated aim of revolutionizing the global economy.
