Instagram co-founder new CEO of TikTok?

For a few weeks TikTok has been without a CEO: Kevin Mayer, former Disney key man and elected to lead the platform only in May, has resigned for reasons related to the pressure exerted by the United States that led to the agreement with Oracle. The vacant chair could soon be occupied by Kevin Systrom (in the opening image).

Despite his young age, just 36, he is former co-founder of Instagram. Before that he worked at the Odeo company from which the Twitter project was born and for Google on some services such as Gmail, Calendar, Reader and Docs. In short, one with enough experience behind him to be able to read, interpret and even more importantly dictate the evolution of the social world and the online ecosystem.

His inauguration could be announced immediately after the green light from Washington to the handshake that would make Oracle a Trusted Technology Provider of ByteDance, thus allowing the platform to continue operating in the United States, avoiding the risk of ban. However, at the moment nothing can be taken for granted, the use of the conditional is a must.
