ESL Vodafone Championship returns with the Winter Season 2020: a season characterized by great news, which will see the participation of the large and passionate Italian eSport community.
Engage in spectacular challenges with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Clash Royale and Brawl Stars, the best Italian players will battle it out starting from September 15th to gain access to the playoffs and win the title of Italian champion and a total prize pool of 20,000 euros.
The regular season will include two groups : CSGO will be played in GSL format, while Clash Royale and Brawl Stars will have two Italian rounds with round-trip rounds. The winners of each group will enter the Playoff, while the second and third qualified will compete to decide who will go to face the winner of the group. The loser, on the other hand, will go down in the Loser Bracket. The Playoffs will be played with a double elimination and double Grand Finale structure!
ESL Vodafone Championship also opens its doors to major international competitions: the winning team of CS: GO, in fact, will participate in the ESL European Championship, the tournament in which the winners of the other national ESL champions will compete - at the Climber Cup - the access tournament to the Mountain Dew League (MDL).
From this edition, the "televised" schedule will offer all fans three evenings of streaming to be able to follow the matches of each title live: Tuesday will be the day dedicated to Brawl Stars, Wednesday that of Clash Royale and Thursday it will be the turn of Counter Strike: Global Offensive!
