Bluetti PowerOak EB240, 2.4 kWh portable electric generator | Review
A lot of energy and continuous delivery up to 1000 Watts, in a transportable format, this is what the Bluetti EB240 portable electric generator offers. Whether you are a professional who needs to use electrical machinery in the most disparate situations, or perhaps inveterate campers, you will love this generator.
The design is relatively simple, with a shape similar to that of a briefcase, only slightly more wide, complete with a top handle for transport. It weighs 22 kg, an acceptable weight considering what it offers.
On the front surface there is an LCD display that indicates the state of charge of the batteries, the instantaneous consumption of the connected equipment and the activation of the AC and DC circuits . The operation is very simple: with a button, held down for a couple of seconds, it will turn on the generator; two more buttons will activate the two power supply circuits, independently.
Four USB Type-A ports are aligned just below the display, and a USB-C port, which is capable of delivering up to 45 Watts . You can use the latter to directly charge a laptop with this connection, like all Apple MacBooks. Next to it is a cigarette lighter socket, specially inserted for all these portable devices, such as field refrigerators.
On the opposite surface there are two schuko sockets. These two sockets, combined (or individually), are capable of delivering a maximum power of 1000 watts. This limit goes beyond what is necessary in many situations. If you want to connect a drill, a field stove or even a coffee machine, you will remain under this power and will therefore be able to use it without problems. Different situation if you want to connect a hairdryer, which you can use but at low power, or a vacuum cleaner, appliances that often go over 1000 watts of power.
