Amazon announces the new Blink Outdoor

Amazon announces the new Blink Outdoor
Whether it is to monitor the office remotely, whether it is to control the home environment from a smartphone or a simple watchful eye on expensive environments, the new Blinks represent Amazon's step forward in the world of video surveillance. The announcement actually passed almost hidden in the heap of announcements that Amazon issued in the last few hours following the debut of the new Echo line and the new Flying Ring: an evolution of the previous generation, more than anything else, to make the family Blink is up to the challenge that is being put forward by many parts towards an increasingly interesting sector for the safety of environments.

New Blink Outoor

The novelty relates in particular to Blink Outdoor, the Amazon camera connected and designed for the outdoors. The new model is available in a single model, but with the possibility of a multiple purchase in order to build advanced and complete video surveillance systems:

1 Blink Outdoor camera (€ 119.99) 2 Blink Outdoor cameras (219 , 99 euros) 3 Blink Outdoor cameras (299.99 euros) 4 Blink Outdoor cameras (379.99 euros) single additional cameras (109.99 euros) New Blink Outdoor

Amazon promises a wireless system on the new model, with battery power for day and night vision lasting about 2 years with 2 AA lithium batteries ("5.882 seconds of Live View, 43.200 seconds of recording motion activated and 4,788 seconds of two-way communication "). Resistant to atmospheric agents, it detects movements and thus starts its own monitoring action. The configuration is extremely simple, allows interactions with two-way audio and allows you to save images to the cloud through a subscription plan (free until March 2021).

Images are recorded in HD 1080p quality (30 frames per second) and the device is guaranteed for full resistance to atmospheric agents. Thanks to infrared shooting, the service is also guaranteed during the night and with complex lighting conditions.

The new Blink Outdoor will be available for delivery starting from 22 October, but can be immediately pre-ordered to be able to grab them without running into the possible bottlenecks of shipments at the end of the year (when between Prime Day and Black Friday you can run into any supply problems).
