Amazon Alexa: Samuel L. Jackson's voice updated

Did you know that there is a kind of variant to the normal voice of Alexa, with that of Samuel L. Jackson (even if only in English)? Know that these days it has received an update that adds more than 30,000 new phrases.

What we can call a true “expansion” of Amazon Alexa has been very successful and will now have five times the original content. Additionally, Samuel L. Jackson is the first celebrity to lend his voice to the device, which can be activated with the words "Hey, Samuel".

An example of Jackson's new Alexa skills includes "good roasting" . In fact, you can activate the command simply by saying: "Hey Samuel, roast me!" .

There could be two answers:

“Why the f *** do you want to be roasted? You really think you can handle that? "

Or again:

"I'm just gonna ignore that request, because if I really roast you, your sorry ass will be destroyed on impact."

It is also possible to activate a sort of "vulgarity filter", but according to surveys conducted by Amazon itself, 74% of users have never used it.

In an interview with Variety, Amazon VP for Alexa and Echo Devices Toni Reid said:

“Customers love having Samuel L. Jackson on their device, which is why we are so excited to launch the our first Alexa activation word with a celebrity of the caliber of Samuel L. Jackson, making it even easier for customers to access this great experience. "

Over the course of 2021, Amazon will be adding more celebrity voices to choose from to the original synthetic voice and the first confirmed name is Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan.
