Twitch Prime changes its name: all the details and news
The news was announced yesterday by the Twitter user who responds to the nickname of Slasher, the Twitch Prime subscription service changes its name to Prime Gaming. The decision comes directly from Amazon, the company that owns the increasingly prolific streaming platform. The service sees the name of the platform disappear at the expense of a greater importance to Gaming.

It must be emphasized right away that, even if the name is different, Prime Gaming will continue to offer the same advantages and same promotions that subscribers were used to. These will include both different exclusive game content and the usual free games that are offered from month to month. In addition, it will also remain the possibility of making a free subscription to your favorite Twitch streamer.

Thanks to this change of name, Prime Gaming is going to align itself more with other Amazon subscription services dedicated to other digital content, such as: Amazon Prime Video for movies and TV series, Amazon Music and Amazon Reading. There will therefore be no changes or big news regarding Prime Gaming subscribers, in addition to the name of the service.

What is clear is that Amazon's attention to its Twitch streaming platform and to the video game world continue to grow. Speaking of Twitch, the well-known streamer Ninja recently returned to the Amazon platform after a period of exclusivity spent directing on Mixer. What do you think of this change in the name of the Prime Gaming service? Is there any feature that you would like to see introduced in this subscription in the future? Let us know with a comment in the dedicated section.

One of the most broadcast games on Twitch is still Fortnite. If you are a fan of the Epic Games title you can buy this NERF reproduction on Amazon at this address.
