The call for proposals for the European Innovation Poles is underway

There is money available for Italian innovation and within a few days it will be decided which will be the surroundings that will guide the Italian expedition. The origin of the funds is European and the destination is that of the "European digital innovation poles": the selection opens on 10 September and closes on 24 September, so these are the weeks in which the games will be made to get ready for the presentation of documentation.

Digital Europe Program

The funds will be managed in the context of the Digital Europe Program “in support of the digital transformation of European societies and economies“. To identify the Poles it will be necessary to pass a double selection: first a national one, aimed at identifying a short list of subjects with the necessary requirements; secondly, a selection managed by the European Commission, in which candidates selected at national level will participate.

The Ministry of Economic Development has allocated - with a directive of the Minister of 13 August 2020, sent to the Court of Auditors for the registration - 97 million euro for the co-financing of the initiatives receiving the subsidies, from the Fund for sustainable growth. Other ministries, any regions, autonomous provinces and other public administrations may also contribute to this quota through their own resources.
