Risk of Rain 2 has already amassed more than 3 million players

Rick of Rain 2, of which version 1.0 has just been released, has already amassed more than 3 million players. This is an astonishing achievement for this independent roguelike shooter, which has far exceeded its authors' wildest expectations.

Risk of Rain 2 is one of those rare cases where the leap from 2D to 3D has succeeded perfectly. The gameplay experience is very different from that of the first episode, but the light gameplay and the excellent cooperative mode have convinced the players who continue to crowd the servers with unchanged joy.

The announcement of the 3 millions of players was done through the game's official Twitter account. It should be noted that the data refers only to the Steam version. Risk of Rain 2 is currently also available for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, there is still no specific data on these versions.
