Res Arcana: Asmodee announces the Italian localization
Res Arcana, conceived by Tom Lehmann, will be a strategy game for 2–4 players suitable from 12 years in on. Players will compete as powerful scholars of magical art, such as alchemists, druids and necromancers, with the aim of becoming the most powerful wizard.
Res Arcana will be a card board game characterized by elements such as Card Drafting and Hand Management, this will mean that players will have to try to get the best strategy based on the cards that will be added to their respective hands from time to time.
The game will also be enriched by evocative fantasy illustrations of Julien Delval, which will portray characters, places, objects and spells and which in the game will be reproduced on the cards.
The game was first published in 2019 by the US publisher Sand Castle Games, winning shortly coveted awards such as the As d'Or (Game of the Year 2020) and the inclusion in the list of recommended games of the Kennerspiel des Jahres for 2020.
