PS5, price and release in the new August State of Play? Check the date of the event

The price and the release of PS5 will certainly be announced during the next State of Play, which according to various sources will be held by the end of August. In fact, imagining that Sony can wait until September to reveal this information would be at least strange.

Well, according to a new leak posted on Twitter by Roberto Serranò, who recently got the date of the presentation right of PS5, both that of the last State of Play, the new event has a date: it will take place on Thursday 20 August.

The pattern seems clear: Sony likes to do things on Thursday, but in this specific case the Japanese house is required to anticipate the times compared to the DC FanDome in August, where Rocksteady's Suicide Squad will be unveiled and, let's imagine, the new Batman from WB Games Montreal.

After an admittedly bland State of Play, that which took place on August 6, in which space was given above all to indie productions and games coming out on PS4 (although there was also the announcement of games like Hood: Outlaws & Legends), it is clear that all the attention of users is addressed to p rossima presentation.

By the end of August there will also be a new presentation dedicated to Xbox Series X: we could find ourselves living really busy weeks.
