Does Beyond Good & Evil become a Netflix movie?
The film does not yet have a screenwriter but will be produced by Jason Altman and Margaret Boykin of Ubisoft.

Developed by Ubisoft Montréal and Ubisoft Milano and produced by Ubisoft for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube and PC, Beyond Good & Evil was released in 2003 collecting very little success from a commercial point of view but being acclaimed by specialized critics, so much so that in 2004 it entered among the finalists at the Game Developers Choice Awards for the best video game of the year.The story is set on the imaginary planet of Hillys, which survives mainly through the mining industry. It is located in a peripheral star system called "4" and has only one moon, Selene. For many years, this world has been under attack by a strange alien race, the Dom’Z. These creatures, dedicated to the practice of strange necromantic and esoteric cults, are particularly interested in the exploitation of Psycho-Karma, a particular source of spiritual energy inherent in human beings, kidnapping them and absorbing their energy to extend their life. Every fourteen hours the Dom'Z launch from the space capsules called Meteors, containing creatures that are ordered to capture the inhabitants of Hillys.
The protagonist is Jade, a twenty year old who lives in an old lighthouse, in an anonymous archipelago of Hillys, with her foster uncle Pey'j. Together they run an orphanage for children whose parents were captured by the Dom’Z, financing it with the proceeds of an investigative company, Jade reporting & Co.
The government Hylliano has withdrawn from different centuries, the army from its primary role of defence left in the hands of the teams Alpha, a military mercenary interplanetary that has highly advanced and powerful as the shields seem to hold off the Dom Z, even if there are several events of strange related to it, such as the fact that teams Alpha strangely come when the attacks are now coming to an end, or that many people, despite the defenses, disappear mysteriously; despite this, they enjoy a great reputation in front of the media and by the people. The head of the teams Alpha, the General Kehk makes frequent speeches and propaganda, inciting the Hylliani to join teams Alpha, giving the guilt of the defenses malriuscite to the Iris Network and accusing them of helping the Dom Z.
In 2011, he released a remastered version in high definition of the game for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2008, Ubisoft announced the start of work for what was then clarified to be a prequel to the original game.
