Discounts for direct payment? Google and Apple remove Fortnite from stores!

We are also pleased to announce that a new payment option is now available on iOS and Google Play: the Epic direct payment option. If you choose to use the Epic direct payment option, you can save up to 20%, because Epic will give you the discount on payment processing costs.
This action was not welcomed by the mobile giants who, from in-game purchases of apps, get a large slice of earnings, in fact both immediately proceeded by removing the Fortnite title from their stores!
According to Apple, Epic Games has deliberately acted "in order to violate the App Store guidelines ".
But the great soap opera is not over yet!
Breaking news is that Epic Games reacted by launching legal actions against Google and Apple!
