Demon's Souls at 60fps on PS5 like Ratchet & Clank and Spider-Man, says an insider
Demon's Souls, the long-awaited remake for PS5, will run at 60 fps via a dedicated performance mode, exactly as announced for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
He reports it on Twitter the insider Nibel, including Astro's Playroom and especially Gran Turismo 7 in the speech, while now several insiders claim that the technique used will be the same in all cases: temporal injection.
This is a Reconstruction technology similar to NVIDIA's excellent DLSS 2.0, which allows images to be rendered at a resolution (say 1080p or 1440p) and upscaled to 2160p with virtually no loss of quality.
It therefore appears that the PlayStation 5 at 4K will be in many ways similar to that of PS4 Pro, but in this case to guarantee users the ability to play with a 60 frames per second mode.
Indeed it is since the introduction of the ray tracing that the developers ori work on reconstructive techniques capable of guaranteeing a certain level of quality while working at lower resolutions, and it is therefore likely that the Xbox Series X will also resort to the same expedient.
60 FPS mode for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart confirmed by Insomniac
Other first-party PS5 games with a perfomance mode so far include Demon's Souls, Astro Bot and Spider-Man: Miles Morales (I imagine GT7 as well) https://t.co/DAXtDiKxRJ
