As expected, as expected, as well as now inevitable: Fortnite was ousted from the App Store as a result of the legal dispute between
Apple and Epic. The users are the losers,
there is no doubt about this: Apple users have one less game available (one of the best known) and game enthusiasts
will not bea> able to access it via iPhone or iPad (among the most popular devices ). But the clash could only end like this, pending legal pronouncements that could shake things up and lead the two groups to new rapprochement strategies in the future.
Fortnite out of the App Store Not only has the game been permanently banned, but Epic's Developer Account has also been permanently closed as well as with the authorization of the judge who has preliminarily analyzed the lawsuit and the immediate appeal presented by both Epic and Microsoft. The problem was in fact inherent in the Unreal Engine, which Epic allows other partner groups to use.
The Unreal Engine was saved because the judge wanted this: the dispute between the parties must not cause damage to others. Epic will therefore be able to manage a secondary account specifically dedicated to the Unreal Engine, while the primary account linked to Fornite is permanently deleted.
