Amazfit GTR 2 and GTS 2 in the fall with new functions

Amazfit, the wearable brand of Xiaomi and the Mi Band 5, is making its way into the market with several really interesting products and she herself has announced that new devices will arrive in the autumn: reference to Amazfit GTR 2 and Amazfit GTS 2.

Both will continue to coexist, as Xiaomi has decided to equip a round dial for the first and square for the second. A very subjective choice that customers take into consideration when purchasing.

Autumn obviously has three months but we expect them to be revealed towards the end of September, about two months after the cycle is completed of the current GTR and GTS.

Both will boast an even more defined OLED display and, especially for the GTS 2, there could be major additions such as NFC, Alexa voice assistant and a new feature called Smart Crown which, of course, will take advantage of the crown on the right side.

GTR 2, with its circular design, should lose one of its buttons - now there are two of them - leaving only one for more functions. New sports activities to be monitored will also be implemented and those linked to swimming will be improved. Speaking of this, the new models will be waterproof up to 5 ATM.

In addition to the two smartwatches, there may be the arrival of a new product called Amazfit Neo. From the little information we can think that this is an even cheaper wearable but it is really too early to talk about it.

For the prices we do not think there will be any surprises, with an alignment very similar to those of GTR and GTS at launch : 149 and 129 euros respectively.
