The eco-bonus for the purchase of zero-impact motorcycles and scooters is underway

From 22 July, the eco-bonus for purchasing mopeds, motorcycles, tricycles and electric quadricycles can be booked on the platform of the Ministry of Economic Development.

At the moment, on the dedicated platform ecobonus.mise.gov.it it is possible to book the bonus only if you choose to scrape a polluting vehicle, but the Ministry of Economic Development informs that it will be possible to reserve the bonus shortly even for purchases without scrapping.

How much are the incentives

The maximum contribution foreseen for the eco-bonus on the purchase of electric and hybrid scooters can receive a discount 40% off the list price, up to a maximum value of 4 thousand euros, in the event that you decide to scrape a polluting vehicle of category euro 0, 1, 2 or 3.

If instead you choose to is ffect the purchase without scrapping the old vehicle the discount percentage applied drops to 30% of the price, and in any case up to the maximum value of 3 thousand euros.

Which motorcycles can be purchased

as regards the types of motorbikes and scooters admitted to the concessions, the text of the approved relocation dictates that new L, two, three or four-wheel vehicles, hybrid or electric in the categories between L1e and up, can benefit from the eco-bonus to L7e included.

As already in the case of the ecological incentives provided for the purchase of electric and hybrid cars, also these incentives to those who choose to purchase motorcycles and scooters are non-polluting can be combined with those provided by the local government and those provided directly by the retailers and other entities .

The Municipality of Milan, for example, has put in field a incentive intended only for residents of the capital of lombardy, which provides a 40% discount on the price , and up to 1,800 euros , if you buy without trade-in, as it rises to 55% for a maximum value of 3 thousand euros if they scrap a vehicle internal combustion engine.
