Raya and the Last Dragon: here is the first image of the Disney movie
A new image of Raya and the Last Dragon, the new Disney animated film set in an Asian-inspired fantasy kingdom, has appeared online. The new promotional illustration appeared unexpectedly online in the last hours and presumably it is a promotional image, but not the definitive poster of the 59th Disney animation classic.
Presented for the first time at D23 of the year last during the conference of the studio's new animated films, this new Classic had immediately intrigued fans, because of its peculiar setting. A little less than a year after its announcement, the first image of the film is shown.
The theatrical release was initially scheduled for November 25, 2020, like many other films expected this year due to the Raya and the Last Dragon pandemic was later postponed. At present, and following Disney's latest provisions, the animated film is expected to debut in US theaters on March 12, 2021.
In the illustration we find Raya, the protagonist, dressed in traditional costumes that recall far away a cut of clothes inspired by the traditions of different nations of South East Asia, while in the background you can see a building developed from mangroves that can remember Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
Raya and the Last Dragon will be a fantasy adventure set in the realm of Kumandra where Raya (Cassandra Steele), a young warrior, will be called to help Sisu (Awkwafina), an aquatic dragon, as well as the last living specimen. Unfortunately, at the moment there are no further details about the plot of this new animated classic, but we know that the directors Paul Briggs and Dean Wellins in designing the realm of Kumandra took inspiration from the atmospheres and folklore of South East Asia and that the setting of this fantasy film will include five different regions.
Both directors are measured for the first time at the head of a Disney Classic, as well as Adele Lim, who has signed the script. To guide these professionals there will be Osnat sch / rer (Oceania) in the role of manufacturer.
The princesses will charm and grace, but this statue of Evil really makes his figure. You can give a look at this link to Amazon.
