Project xCloud, Microsoft wants to bring it to as many screens as possible
Microsoft has big plans for Project xCloud and wants to bring it to as many screens as possible. Cloud gaming is not yet an established reality, but it is taking steps forward and Project xCloud could give it just the boost it needs.

Phil Spencer has already announced that it will also arrive on mobile systems in September, allowing in fact to play all the Xbox exclusive on the move, but apparently the general plan for this new way of conceiving video games does not stop here.

Interviewed by The Verge, the head of the Xbox division stated that the real goal is to have Project xCloud on as many screens as possible, giving the service its complete autonomy:

"With the over time we will continue to expand the introduction of streaming as part of the platform and allow the titles owned outside the subscription to play. At launch we will integrate it into Ultimate at no additional cost. We believe that it is a good audience to start from, one that plays a lot of games.

We hope to bring Project xCloud to any screen that can stream video games. For now, let's just talk about mobile. There are contracts in progress and we are working on it. We will give more details on the platforms mobile in August and for the September launch.

We want to try the games as easy as for the videos for the music, where I can send a track in Spotify and those who receive it can listen to it in streami ng immediately. Over time, wherever a person sees a game they will have to be able to try it. "
