Pokémon GO, an image celebrates the fourth anniversary and anticipates many new features

Time flies away quickly: four years have already passed since the distant launch of Pokémon GO on the market, which took place in the summer of 2016. Here then the mobile title of Niantic Labs celebrates its fourth anniversary and (as always) it does with a promotional image.

The image linked to the celebrations represents a ritual appointment, and goes with all the initiatives related to the fourth anniversary of Pokémon GO. Now, the important detail of this whole story is that the image in question (which you can find at the bottom of the article) always hides secrets. It anticipates all the news arriving on Pokémon GO in the coming months.

First, the Mega Evolution is reconfirmed, announced just a couple of weeks ago: it should debut by autumn. Here then the wallpaper shows MegaLucario, MegaMewtwo Y and MegaCharizard X. Then, hidden in various points of the wallpaper, there are also Froakie, Fennekin and Chespin, clear reference to the sixth generation of Kalos (Pokémon X and Pokémon Y). And we could continue.

Indeed, we continue. Here are all the details of the image, which refer to as many new features coming to Pokémon GO in the coming months, presumably by the end of 2020. Victini (will be available from the Pokémon GO Fest 2020) MegaLucario, MegaMewtwoY and MegaCharizardX, which reconfirm the arrival of the MegaEvolution Team GO Rocket's Hot Air Balloon, then the three Team GO Rocket Leaders and Giovanni Whimsicott, Unova Pokémon not yet available Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie (sixth generation of Kalos, Pokémon X and Y)
