Kioxia announces the development of PCI Express 5.0 SSD with E3.S form factor

Kioxia has announced the development of E3.S SSDs that connect to the host system via a standard PCIe connector, just like common NVMe SSDs, graphics cards or network cards, and measure only 104.9 x 76 x 3.5mm. The company has not yet disclosed the official name of the product or disclosed any performance data, but it should have the capacity of 3.84TB.
