IO App : the news of the update
These are the news announced by the PagoPA team:“we have introduced a first series of improvements aimed at making IO more accessible and inclusive. In particular, these implementations will serve to make the interface of the app more readable for visually impaired citizens, through the help tools dedicated to reading the screen content (screen reader), made available by the operating systems "; compatibility with tablets: the app, previously designed exclusively for smartphones, now reaches both iPad and Android tablets; possibility of making screenshots on some screens, such as specifically "Payments", "Transaction Details" and "Bonus activated".
The prompt response in terms of accessibility demonstrates how the roadmap actually provided for this type of intervention in a short time: this was the case, making the platform more inclusive and thus allowing it to be transformed into a preferential access door to services of the Public Administration that will be added little by little.
The work continues and from what has been leaked on Twitter, for example, a "Documents" section is expected from January 2021:
