GTA VI: All we can guess from the next Rockstar game! (video)
While the game itself is only rumored at the moment, it is highly likely that Rockstar's next project is already in the pipeline. But what can we expect from it? Our video response!
For the next generation of consoles, we already know that Rockstar has announced that Grand Theft Auto V will (once again) be ported to PS5, but it is almost certain that the next episode of the series is already in production. If all that surrounds this sixth opus are for the moment only rumors, we can still try to guess certain points. First of all, like the rest of the saga, it is very likely that Grand Theft Auto VI takes place in the United States, in our time and in a fictional city. A change in timing seems unlikely since Rockstar has other licenses for this, such as L.A. Noire or Red Dead.
At the level of the game system, Rockstar could perhaps finally break down the barriers that separate the systemic tools of the open-world and the missions of the story so that the two parties form a whole more coherent. The combat system with its automatic aiming could also be redesigned for something more dynamic, especially from the studio behind Max Payne 3. Finally, we can imagine the return of a more advanced simulation aspect as in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas with a gang system that can have an impact on the city. In any case, the next announcements from Rockstar will be closely watched to imagine the future of the series.
