Ghost of Tsushima, the official launch trailer prepares us for release on PS4
Ghost of Tsushima stars in its inevitable launch trailer, which comes four days after the actual release of the game on PS4, scheduled for July 17, 2020 on the Sony console.
Developed by Sucker Punch and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, being obviously a first party production, Ghost of Tsushima is an open world style action game set in Feudal Japan, which tells the fascinating story of Jin Sakai, samurai remained as the only surviving member of his clan.
The game represents a sort of evolution of the Assassin's Creed-style action but strongly characterized by its particular setting, which becomes the protagonist as an integral part of the action. In thirteenth century Japan, with the Mongol empire extending its sights on the archipelago, Jin finds himself having to carry out an impossible mission: to try to protect what is left of his people and fight for freedom.
This involves a difficult constant choice on the part of the protagonist, in a difficult balance between bushido, or the samurai code of honor, and a new, more daring and obscure fighting technique, which identifies him with the figure of the spectrum that gives the name to the game itself.
There are now many insights we have dedicated to Ghost of Tsushima, so if you want to prepare yourself better for the July 17th release, in addition to the launch trailer shown above, give a look at the specials on the game world, the bushido, the katana and the difficult path of Jin Sakai.
