Diablo 2: a video showing the game at 4K and 60fps
The youtuber ReznoR made a sixteen minute video of Diablo 2 with a resolution of 4K and a fluidity of 60fps, using the Learning Neural Network AI and the Advanced Motion Interpolation to do the image upscaling, effectively improving the graphics of the original title, despite having maintained the original proportions of the image.
The soundtrack has also been improved, with the activation of EAX Environmental Effects and 3D audio of the old Creative Sound Blaster Audigy / X-Fi cards, as well as the Head Related Transfer Function (HRTF).
We specify that this is not a remastered version of Diablo 2, but the original version at 25fps and 720p. The various technologies described have dealt with filling the missing frames and enlarging the image without making it lose detail. For a real remastered edition you have to wait for Blizzard to deal with it ... hoping that it will not end up in Warcraft 3.
