Deathloop on PS5 will take advantage of DualSense for adaptive triggers and haptic feedback

Deathloop will take advantage of the PS5 DualSense controller, using its peculiarities to serve the gameplay, in particular adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

Let's talk about some of the features that the journalist Geoff Keighley talked about when he tried the DualSense controllers, and which were explicitly mentioned by Deathloop's game director, Dinga Bakaba, during an interview with IGN.

"The first advantage of bringing the game to next-gen lies in convenience to be able to work at higher resolutions, with higher frame rates, HDR and ray tracing, "explained Bakaba, reiterating that Deathloop will shoot at 4K and 60 fps on PS5.

" So far our console titles have been limited to 30 fps, and being able to aim for 60 frames for an action game is really exciting. " However, there will be features that go beyond mere visual impact, as mentioned.

"There are many interesting possibilities in the use of haptic feedback and adaptive triggers," continued the game director. "You can really feel the weapon we use, its reactions, the reloading, how it behaves in such situations: I think players will appreciate these details."
