BRZRKR: Keanu Reeves comic book author for BOOM! Studios
BRZRKR will feature a demigod born 80,000 years old, his father is in fact the god of war and he fights unceasingly through the centuries, failing to escape the nature of his father. He is trapped in this condition with which he constantly tries to come to terms.
The features of the protagonist will obviously be modeled on those of Keanu Reeves that we will find today at work for the United States government involved in suicide missions in exchange for the secret about its existence. The miniseries has been described as action-packed and hyper-violent.
Reeves himself described the story as a crazy cross between the Bourne and Highlander saga in which the protagonist agrees to accomplish these missions hoping that the government manages to shed light on its origin and to "cure" it from this condition. Unlike some characters that he played on the big screen, the actor explained that his comic is a funny guy who appreciates the heterogeneity of all the cultures in which he lived and in fact speaks hundreds of languages and has an eidetic memory .
Talking about his relationship with comics, Keanu Reeves has said of them began to read at around 9/10 years old and can remember Richie Rich, the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, Ghost Rider and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.
