Astro’s Playroom is not a simple demo, but a multi-hour game gifted with PS5
During the presentation of DualSense made by Geoff Keighley last night an interesting detail emerged on Astro's Playroom, the game used to demonstrate the capabilities of the controller. It seems, in fact, that Astro's Playroom will not be a simple technical demo, but it is a game for several hours that will be given with PS5.
To see the first gameplay video of Astro's Playroom, just watch the video of the DualSense tried by Geoff Keighley.
The game appears briefly, but it's always the first look you can give to a live PS5 game. You can see a couple of levels and environments, but above all Keighley said that he can feel the sandstorm or snowstorm inside the DualSense thanks to the haptic feedback contained inside.
What it was not known of Astro's Playroom is that the game will be a real 3D platformer that will last several hours and that will be given together with PlayStation 5 to demonstrate the capabilities of the console and its controller. Until now, in fact, it was thought that Astro's Playroom would be a simple technical demo or a set of disconnected mini-games.
At the end of the live presentation, photos were distributed that compare the dimensions and the shape of DualSense with those of DualShock 4.
