Assassin's Creed is history Where are Assassins and Templars? From stealth adventure to RPG Assassin's Creed still deserves its name? It is no mystery that Assassin's Creed has met with a series of criticisms after its evolution a few years ago: the structure that characterized the series from 2007 until 2015 needed to be renewed, after betraying an increasingly marked repetition and a structure that was beginning to feel the weight of the years despite attempts to always add something new. The annual publication frequency therefore took a break and the saga returned in late 2017 with Assassin's Creed: Origins leaving the public speechless - for better or for worse; its nature of dynamic adventure with a touch of stealth had been unhinged to make way for an action RPG, a change of direction that nobody thought could have been applied to the concept of the game focused - more often theoretically than practically - on the aforementioned stealth. The chapter surprised and overall was liked, bringing in spite of everything a breath of fresh air without therefore completely losing the spirit that has always distinguished it.
