Animal Crossing: New Horizons - How to hunt a villager?

Animal Crossing: New Horizons - How to hunt a villager?
After having clarified the characters of the inhabitants and the friendly relationships with them, I am back with a new guide!

This is one of the most important in my opinion, since there are too many false myths to dispel and it is necessary to clarify : How do you send a resident away from your island on Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

Our islands, small tropical paradises, receive countless visitors and some of them can even stay, if they are invited to do so (or if they have been with us since the beginning of the adventure)!

But if an inhabitant no longer convinces us, or perhaps it is not as we imagined, how can we get rid of it?

The inhabitant must want to go away

As many of you will know by now, don't it is exactly possible to decide who to send away, it must be the inhabitant to ask us to leave the island: when we see an inhabitant wandering with a white cloud on his head, he will ask us the fateful question and we will decide his fate.

Using amiibo

The only way we have to get rid of the unwanted inhabitant precisely is through the use of amiibo.

Amiibo are interactive cards and figurines of various characters from the Nintendo world. To use them on Animal Crossing we will have to go to the service center and use the Point Nook counter and select the "Invite character" item.

By touching the NFC sensor on the joycon with the amiibo we will invite the inhabitant to our campsite !

It will be necessary to invite him for 3 different days and each time he will ask us to craft a souvenir and we will have to satisfy his request. On the third day he will finally tell us that he wants to move and will ask us which inhabitant we think is "thinking of leaving the island". In this way the villager we want to send away will have the boxes!

How to do without an amiibo? Ninji tell us about you!

Also in this case, the dataminer Ninji is to know the truth about the operation of the desire of the inhabitant to get away from the island.

Meanwhile, there are 3 basic requirements :

you have to have at least 6 villagers living on its own island, they Must have passed 15 days from the last time that an inhabitant has gone forth from the island Should be passed 5 days since the last time a villager asked us to go away from the island (and we have said no) From here, things gets more complicated, there is a formula that is particularly complex that Ninji has made public via a tweet : every day the percentage that a villager asks to move is equal to (v*5) + c , where v is the number of inhabitants on the island, and c represents the number of days that have passed since the last time that a villager has asked to move (with a maximum of 30 days). But it does not end here!

Ninji it also explains how you can choose the character that wants to leave the island: the desire to leave is based on the level of friendship, and calculates, for every single inhabitant, with the formula ((300 – to)/10) – r , where a represents the friendship overall that the villager has with the other inhabitants , r indicates the number of residents who have with us a level of friendship of less than 200 .

In other words, the inhabitant with the level of friendship the lowest , be with us, not the other inhabitants, will be the next to want to leave the island .

in Addition to these data, there are some circumstances to keep in mind: the people will ask us to move if we are moving their home and if in a week it will be their birthday . The last villager who asked us to go away don't ask again after that we asked him to stay. Also, it seems that it is more difficult that it happens to the inhabitants that are transferred onto our island for a short time .

The system is also not as precise , in fact, even if we calculate everything in detail, it is not said that it is just that the resident ask to go away.

Some little trick

If your inhabitant favourite asks you to go via, we recommend that you close the game without saving , and return to the main menu of the console from the HOME button and ignore it for the rest of the day . In this way, very probably the day after will be another villager to want to move and you will not be forced to wait from 5 to 15 days for the next transfer request.

you Can also try to “ drive ” the cloud giving the villager a shot with the screen , it is possible that the desire to go away ( and thus the cloud ) and move on to another inhabitant directly in the day !

Method more rapid and “painless”

If you do not disturb use the Time Travel , you can go ahead of 2 weeks and 99% the inhabitant will feel the desire to leave the island. If it is not what you want to put away, to close the game without saving and go forward a day, until the cloud will not end up on the villager you want!

If you are always the same inhabitants to ask you if you want to move on, I advise you to lower the level of friendship with the villager is unwanted, giving him garbage, and taking shots of the screen up to make him angry. In this way, the probability that he/she the next to want to leave your island will increase!

I Know that this is a subject particularly complex, but I hope I have clarified your doubts, if you don't know how to calculate the level of friendship with your villagers will the council recover this guide !
