The Last of Us Part 2: 'many of the leaks are fake', word of Neil Druckmann
In the long dialogue with Eurogamer.net, Druckmann explained how some parts of the plot leaked on the net were misunderstood: "There are so many false things we don't want to go and correct them one by one because in doing so we would ruin the game in a certain sense, saying what is false we would understand what is true ". The director then explained how Naughty Dog wanted to explore all the possible situations that a 19-year-old woman could encounter, regardless of whether this could happen through sexuality, physical or mental violence: "So if you somehow have a problem with this, ok, it sucks, but the story will win anyway. It may be ironic or perhaps sad, I think the people who will benefit most from this type of narration are the ones who are making the most noise right now, but I hope that there is enough in the game that can help them normalize what is normal in all respects ".
In the same interview Neil Druckmann analyzed the issue of leaks even more deeply and spoke openly about the difficulties encountered during the development of TLOU2.
