Sword and Shield Pokémon: announced the release date of the first DLC

As anticipated only a few days ago by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, this afternoon we finally had the opportunity to discover some more details on the DLC for the eighth generation Pokémon Sword and Shield titles developed by Game Freak. Despite a decidedly lean start to the year of releases, the Nintendo Switch hybrid console is finally about to mesh with new releases.

The trailer published on the official YouTube channel opens showing us some new environments, Pokémon, raids and Gigamax versions which will be present in both the Solitary Island of the Armor and The Snowy Lands of the Crown DLC. In conclusion of the video, the date of the launch of the first DLC has finally appeared, which will be released on June 17, with the pre-orders that are already open from this moment.

After the announcement of the release date, also shown are the aesthetic bonus items that will be made available to all players who decide to book the Expansion Pass. We remind you that the DLC are both included in the Expansion Pass for all owners of both versions of the eighth generation Pokémon Sword and Shield.

So there we are, the first DLC for Pokémon Sword and Shield called The Solitary Isle of Armor will debut next June 17, obviously exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
