Star Wars Maverick, does the presentation have a new date set?

Star Wars Maverick could have the presentation very close, after a move made compared to the date originally planned due to the known events currently underway related to the Black Lives Matter movement, now set for June 9, 2020.

The information, as well as the one that spoke of the next days for the presentation of the game, is not yet official but comes from a couple of sources that can be considered vaguely reliable, namely Bespin Bulletin and the usual Jeff Grubb: both point to June 9, 2020 as day of presentation of Star Wars Maverick, or the new video game on Star Wars indicated at the moment with this provisional name, after the postponement of the event initially scheduled for June 2.

Everything started initially with a tweet by Motive Montreal, the Electronic Arts team who apparently were ready to reveal something: "Here we are! The Motive family is excited to share info rmazione on who he is and what he is doing ". The tweet was also relaunched by the usual Jason Schreier, who added "It seems that someone is preparing to announce a new game".

The team in question would therefore be responsible for Star Wars Maverick, the title that appeared in the first in March on the European PlayStation Store but evidently ahead of its time, considering that it has not yet been officially announced.

This would also be the game to which the famous "Mel Gibson photo" refers, which always appears in the The now famous calendar of the journalist Jeff Grubb on the various events scheduled for this summer, which has so far proved to be quite reliable. The reference is precisely to the film Maverick with the actor in question, a namesake of the new Star Wars game. In the calendar, further modified, the presentation is now placed on June 9.
