Samsung will optimize the new QLED TVs for gaming

The gaming world is becoming increasingly important, forcing not only monitor manufacturers but also TV manufacturers to optimize their panels, sometimes also introducing new technologies, in order to offer a better visual experience.

LG was the first manufacturer to make new improvements within its top of the range OLED TVs of 2019. The B9, C9 and E9 models, in addition to being optimized for gaming, were also among the first with support to G-Sync, or Nvidia's proprietary technology capable of adapting the panel's refresh rate to the number of frames generated by the PC. These three LG models are also capable of handling a 120Hz refresh rate at 1440p resolution.

Samsung has not been idle, in fact the 2019 QLED models have been optimized so as to offer more engaging and responsive gaming sessions, all seasoned with a relatively low input lag. As the ninth generation of consoles is almost upon us, the Korean company is designing its new TVs to provide an unprecedented gaming experience, introducing new technologies such as adaptive sync.

4K Resolution with a refresh rate of 120Hz to take advantage of the new HDMI standard 2.1 ; Full compatibility with FreeSync Premium in such a way as to minimize the stuttering and tearing; response Times extremely low, reaching a maximum of 9.8 ms, Game Mode, Motion Plus, able to minimize the motion blur and the halo effect; Self-Game Mode , i.e. a mode that allows a console to automatically optimize the TV in order to have the highest possible refresh rate, input lag very low, and enjoy a gaming experience without equal; Dynamic Black EQ , an equalizer of the blacks able to donate because of the contrasts more vivid, but without losing detail in areas that are very dark; “ Object Tracking ” Sound, a technology that will make it even more immersive sound; Multi-View , a mode which is very similar to the Picture in Picture (PIP), which will allow us to use two sources at the same time by simply dividing the screen. The next generation of consoles will only bring you benefits in the field of play, but also in a visual environment. The new features that Samsung will introduce in the models QLED 2020 are really impressive and are sure to be a joy for our eyes, a little less for the bank account.
