According to the data reported by the well-known Japanese magazine Famitsu, it seems that the digital market has contributed significantly to the success of the life simulator. The latest statistics report in fact more than 10 million copies of Animal Crossing: New Horizons sold in digital delivery, from the day of the launch until today.

An impressive figure, but not entirely unimaginable: it is in fact necessary to remember that the exclusive Nintendo Switch has arrived on the market in the midst of the health emergency generated by the Coronavirus epidemic. Consequently, the difficulties in accessing retail copies has prompted many consumers to opt for digital, while not giving up the opportunity to immerse themselves in the paradisiac tropical islands that represent the setting chosen for the latest incarnation of the Nintendo series.
