PS5 higher than Xbox Series X thanks to variable frequency for a developer
Illustrated during the Event several months ago, Cerny said that PS5 will boast a Zen 2 processor with 8 Core at 3.5GHz and a 10.28 TFLOPs GPU with 36 CUs at 2.23GHz at variable frequency. This frequency will push the console to deliver optimal processing power, letting the variable frequency of the PS5 hardware manage its workloads according to the needs of the console itself. This choice led Makaj to praise the new Sony home console, obviously not diminishing the Xbox Series X declaring that: "Both will represent a really good step forward, especially as regards the CPU performance".
The developer has also added that according to his experience, is able to work better with the PS4 instead of the Xbox One, and that probably “ the situation will be repeated with the next-generation console”. Today, however, we do not yet know who will win this now endless “ war “, but we are confident that on paper are nothing short of extraordinary. We remind you once again that Sony has not yet shown the appearance of the console by postponing the event scheduled for tomorrow in support of the protests in the United States. Of course, we can't wait to test first hand in both PS5 and Xbox Series X and see how we will work the developers in the future.
