PS5: after the event, most of the trailers will be released in 4K

The wait turned out to be longer than expected, but luckily it's about to end. The presentation event of the PS5 games will finally be aired at 22:00 on Thursday 11 May, which will lead us to the discovery of the line-up of the Sony next generation console.

On the occasion of the announcement of the new date, Sony has kept specifying that the show (pre-recorded) will be broadcast at 1080p and 30fps. It was a very specific choice, undertaken to "facilitate the production process of the event in a period in which most of the team and developers work from home". The Japanese company has also ensured that the games that will be shown will appear "even more spectacular when played on PS5 with a 4K TV".

However, it seems that we won't have to wait long to see these games in 4K splendor. Responding to a user comment on the PlayStation Blog, SIE Content Communications Senior Director Sid Shuman specified that "although the broadcast will be in 1080p and 30fps, the majority of trailers will be posted in 4K on YouTube after the show." Basically, after the feast of trailers and announcements of the event, we will have plenty of time to review the majority of the films (not all, therefore) at an even higher quality, that is in 4K.

We take the opportunity to invite us at the marathon to be held on Everyeye's Twitch channel this Thursday. We are waiting for you at 14:00 for a Q&A Tech dedicated to the technical specifications of PlayStation 5, while from 15:00 we will start the real marathon, a very long pre-show with comments, analyzes and a recap of all the information on PS5 waiting for the real event which, we repeat, will begin at 22:00. We look forward to seeing you there!
