PS4 and YouTube: login problems have been resolved
PlayStation 4 owners have been around for quite some time now. they were unable to login with their account in the official YouTube application, and therefore to access their content collection (history, subscriptions, playlists, etc.) in comfort. At the end of last month, the team of technicians from the video streaming service set to work on a solution, however warning that it could take some time. On that occasion, they invited all users to take advantage of the connection features from the smartphone app to temporarily remedy the problem.
Since then no other official messages have been published, but it seems that the criticality has been resolved, at least judging by the numerous messages available on Twitter. Many players are expressing their joy on Twitter for restoring the YouTube login functionality. Have any of you already tested? Can you confirm this?
Recently, during an interview granted on the occasion of the announcement of the presentation event of the PS5 games (then postponed to a later date due to the riots in the USA), the president and CEO Jim Ryan said the PS3 era PlayStation Network problems are a distant memory.
