Panda Easy Hybrid: designed for the city

The Panda range is expanding. Again. After the arrival of the hybrid version and the City Cross, here is the Easy Hybrid: a model expressly dedicated to life and use in the city. As the name implies, under the hood there is the new mild hybrid architecture with 1 liter petrol unit three cylinder FireFly 70 HP and a BSG electric motor with 11 Ah battery capacity.

This is not of a classic hybrid structure: the car never travels with zero emissions. Its task is to support the main engine, acting as a starter motor and supplying electricity during the acceleration phases for a maximum peak of 3.6 kW. This measure should improve consumption and emissions by around 20%.

Designed for the city, available with the D-Fence package

The setting remains that of Panda: practical comfortable, easy to handle and with good habitability. On request it is possible to equip the new Panda Easy Hybrid with the D-Fence package: designed to sanitize the car, protecting the occupants from the Covid-19 transmission.

The equipment includes a filter that retains impurities and blocks particulates and up to 100% of allergens. An air purifier inside the passenger compartment filters the micro particles and a UV lamp helps to sanitize all surfaces with which it comes into direct contact: steering wheel, gear lever and seats.
