League of Legends, the LPL make up the look for the Summer Split

The LPL presented their new logo to all League of Legends fans in China today. The artistic direction of the previous logo has remained the same, with colors and shapes that remain unchanged, however a great addition of impact has been made. With the previous form that simply portrayed the Summoner Rift in red and white, now instead I draw them it makes you think of something else. Two lines that converge to represent a clash, two forces that contend for victory in the arena, a force so powerful that the lines also escape from the arena.

An idea that particularly represents the golden moment who is experiencing China, especially if we think of the last Mid Season Cup won by Top Esports. The country has always been characterized by a very aggressive and fast style of play that immediately aims to destabilize opponents by looking for earlygame snowballs. The previous logo had been created in 2017, and having never been changed, the federation decided to take this great step to go further emphasize the playing style of its players.

With the passing of years the Chinese league has always won fans from all over the world, expanding its horizons also thanks to the victory of the world cup in 2018 and 2019, respectively went to Invictus Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix. The Chinese League of Legends championship will start on June 5th and we will see 17 teams clashing for two consecutive months until we reach the Summer Playoffs where we will find out who will be able to qualify for this year's world cup.
