Interview with Arianna Bochicchio: from language studies to Netflix

Do you know those volcanic personalities, animated by real passion and definitely unstoppable? The demonstration that in a generation of so-called "slackers", where it is often enough to cross the threshold of twenty years and one is held up as parasites, without turning any thought to one's future, certainly does not count all those young souls who not only have strong interests , but they also manage to realize and concretize them. Arianna Bochicchio, born in 1995, is one of these, currently working as assistant director on the set of Italian and international films and TV series. How do you become "Ariadne"? He tells it directly in our interview, telling how we go from the studies to the set, until we land on Netflix.



Where does this passion come from? It was born along the way, were you inspired by some significant person for you or innate gift?

The passion for the art of performing arts has always been mine! At the age of 10 I organized "little shows" with my brother and my two best friends, who would then go on stage in the residence in Liguria where we spent all the summers. We had fallen in love with the musicals: Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, until we wrote one of our own. It's one of the best childhood memories I have.

When did you start your acting career? Did you start in the field of theater, cinema or TV? What were your first shows?

I started to approach the theater in a more serious way in high school, where the director Fausto Ghirardini held an extracurricular course. Soon I started spending more time with my theater mates than with my classmates, and Fausto was a real teacher. For the first time, in fact, I was immersed in a group of people driven by my own passion.
