Hawkeye: provisional title of new Marvel TV series announced

However, although it is not yet clear when filming will officially start again, we already know what the title of the Marvel: Anchor Point show will be.
Hawkeye will see the figure of Kate take the field for the first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Bishop, who could be played by actress Hailee Steinfield, although the casting has not yet been confirmed; the show will also see the presence - in this case confirmed - of Jeremy Renner. The title of the series - which we remember, is still provisional - then leaves room for several conjectures.
Anchor Point (or Anchor) is in fact the name of a specific movement used in the practice of archery, or one that provides a defined point on the archer's face, where the hand of the rope comes in full traction; but it is also the title of the first cycle of comics dedicated to Hawkeye written by Kelly Thompson and whose protagonist is Kate Bishop.
The TV series Hawkeye – Anchor Point may, therefore, be focused on the numbers written by Thompson, in particular, in which Bishop works as a private investigator: it is possible to Marvel Studios the filming of the show will start and by the detective work of the Bishop, and that during its investigations the protagonist will have to shed light on the murders perpetrated by Ronin , the temporary alter-ego of Clint Barton .
