Has Halo Infinite: 343 invested a lot of resources on HDR?

Halo Infinite will support HDR but as reported by ResetERA EvilBoris user, the study seems to have invested many resources in this technology with the aim of guaranteeing a greater impact than "standard" HDR

EvilBoris is a journalist of HDTVTest and recently he has had the opportunity to evaluate some aspects related to the next Microsoft console and in particular to test the use of HDR with some video games backwards compatible with Xbox Series X (EvilBoris does not mention any title in particular to this by the way) but not only, underlining how 343 Industries has "made great efforts to use HDR in an innovative way in Halo Infinite".

The Seattle studio took time and money with large investments to open new doors to the use of HDR, EvilBoris expressly talks about Halo Infinite but it is easy to imagine how the improvements in question are actually an integral part of the SlipSpace Engine, the new generation engine of the studio, and therefore also used for all future Next-Gen productions registered by 343.

The source speaks "Special HDR" without going into technical details, therefore we just have to wait for any information about it from the development team. Halo Infinite is expected at the end of the year simultaneously with Xbox Series X, the studio is currently working in Smart Working due to the Coronavirus epidemic, it is not clear how this has impacted the development of the game.
