Harry Potter RPG, between PS5 and Xbox Series X? The game still exists, Schreier says
In the autumn of 2018, a mysterious video leak appeared on the net revealed to the world an alleged "Harry Potter RPG" in production at the studios of development of Warner Bros. In a very short time, the film was removed at the request of Warner herself: since then, no official confirmation has ever come from the company regarding the existence of the project, but optimism has not yet abandoned the hearts of those who would like to return to immerse yourself in the fascinating universe created by the pen of JK Rowling.
Well, a glimmer of hope now comes from Jason Schreier, notoriously well-informed about the behind the scenes of the video game world. The former Kotaku Editor, now in force at the Bloomberg tech team, has in fact published a short chirping in which he says that the Harry Potter RPG is still in progress and has not been canceled. However, he adds, he has no idea when it will be announced. The journalist also underlined how at this particular moment working on the title can be "complicated": the reference, in all probability, is to the controversies triggered by some statements by J.K. Rowling. At the same time, Schreier said he had no information to share about the recent rumors related to the possible sale of the Warner Bros gaming division.
At the moment, however, nothing remains to be wait for any official confirmation from Warner Bros, in the hope that the talked-about Harry Potter RPG for PS5 and Xbox Series X can actually prove to be reality.
