Fullmetal Alchemist, Oniri Créations announces the statue of Roy Mustang

After a first image in recent weeks that served as a teaser Oniri Créations has finally announced Roy Mustang - The Flame Alchemist, his second statue dedicated to the anime of Fullmetal Alchemist. The resin statue proposed by the sculptor team of the Oniri Créations company will be in 1/6 scale and sees the character - also known as the fire alchemist - surrounded by various flames and fumes generated by him with a base-diorama with characteristics urban.

Fullmetal Alchemist is the anime based on the manga by Hiromu Arakawa that tells the adventures of the Elric brothers. When they were very young, the two lost their mother and tried, through the alchemical techniques that provide for the equivalent exchange, to bring her back to life. Things do not go exactly as expected, in fact, besides having created a shapeless monster without any conscience Alphonse, the younger brother, loses his body while Edward loses an arm and a leg. Fortunately Edward manages to fix Alphonse's soul in an empty armor while he with the help of his friend Winry manages to regain the use of the limbs through mechanical constructions called automail. After enlisting in the army, Edward takes the title of Steel Alchemist and will make the acquaintance of the charismatic Roy Mustang one of his higher ranking superiors. Roy Mustang is also known as The Alchemist of Fire and thanks to his powers, capable of generating and controlling fire he is able to face the fearsome homunculus, of the perfidious enemies that the two brothers will find along their way.

The statue proposed by Oniri Créations will be limited to only 750 copies worldwide, and will reach a height of about 40 cm. The pose chosen by the team of sculptors see Roy Mustang taking in the midst of a whirlwind of fire he himself has generated, and thanks to the movement created in the sculpt of the dress, the military manages to have a great dynamic effect. The statue will be fully realized in resin, but some elements such as the flames and smoke will be made of clear pvc, will be also equipped with head and hand interchangeable without the glove so that the holder can vary the exposure to your liking.

Roy Mustang – The Flame Alchemist is in pre-order directly from the manufacturer at a price of 599,00 € with output estimated for the third quarter of 2021.
