Destiny 2, Arrivals Season: guide to the public event Contact

Among the new features of Destiny 2: Shadows from the Deep Arrivals there is also a new and particular public event called the Contact. Completing the event is essential to moving forward in the main feat of the season, so we try to better understand how to overcome it and how to activate its Heroic version.

Unlike other public events, Contact can be activated at any time simply by visiting the place to place the Transmat on Io (as you can see in the image below, it is marked by an icon with the Pyramid Ship). Given the start of the event, the players are faced with a horde mode with different points of contact with Gambling: the goal is in fact to eliminate as many opponents as possible to collect the red particles and deposit them at the central bank . If you want to activate the Heroic version of the event, you have to pay close attention to the Flowers, or orange spheres of light protected by very resistant opponents that will arrive during the waves: deliver all the Flowers to the Central Bank and avoid that the Champions can steal them to pass to the Heroic Contact version.

In the more complex version of the event, the Corrupt Pyromancer, or the final boss, will also arrive, which requires the Guardians to be fast and well armed. This tough enemy cannot be damaged always but only in certain situations, since it will be protected by a shield directly connected to corrupt pylons, which must be destroyed to disable the boss's defenses.

The event is 990, but we suggest that you face this activity with at least a level above 1000: the figure indicated is in fact related only to the enemies of the very first wave and those arriving later are of a much higher level, which could make the your presence on the field.
