Cyberpunk 2077: improvements equal to what has been since The Witcher 2 to 3
The information came out of one of the recent podcasts edited by the German GameStar site for its Premium user, and kindly translated into English by a member of the Reddit community. Moraez, that's the name of the user, explained that according to the developers "the improvements in the level design will be as big as what have been from The Witcher 2 to The Witcher 3." Unlike what happened in the last chapter of the witcher, the map of Cyperpunk 2077 will not be full of question marks and icons, since the goal of the developers is to prevent the players from feeling compelled to complete each single marked activity.
Great progress has also been made in the design of the quests. Apparently, in Cyberpunk 2077 players will have three times as many ways to complete each quest than The Witcher 3, a game that in 2015 was already quite cutting edge from this point of view. "They asked themselves: what is the stupidest thing a player is capable of doing and how can we make the quest continue?" . By following this approach, the guys from CD Projekt RED have created a system where "the only thing that can stop a quest is player death".
During the same podcasts, the developers also talked about the incredible number of NPCs in Cyberpunk 2077.
