Crysis Remastered will be unveiled the day after tomorrow, 1 July 2020, with a first trailer of the gameplay that will be broadcast directly from the official YouTube channel dedicated to the series, as you can see from the ready-made player shown below.
After a long series of Corridor rumors, leaked before the announcement, it finally emerged in April that Crysis Remastered is official for PS4, PC, Xbox One and Switch but practically nothing has been seen of the game, beyond a first teaser without however contents taken from the title in question.
This is a heavily reworked version of the first Crysis from a technical point of view, reconstructed with a new graphic sector based on the new version of the CryEngine. Considering that the progenitor of the series was already at the time a highly avant-garde game, so much so that it also gave rise to a legendary meme on its exoseness in terms of computational power, we expect excellent things also from this remastered version.
From the first information, however, it has also emerged the application of a particular technology that allows you to apply ray tracing on different platforms: it is a proprietary ray tracing solution of CryEngine which is "agnostic in terms of hardware and API ", that is applied independently of the platform and the different programming tools used for these.
It remains to be seen how remastered this Crysis Remastered is, with the new game that will also contain high quality textures and additional effects. To see something effective, therefore, you just have to wait for July 1, 2020, at 18:00, when the first gameplay trailer will be unveiled.
